*Rajab* , the seventh month of the Islamic lunar calendar, is one of the four sacred months in Islam⁽¹⁾. This month holds special importance for Muslims around the world as it marks the *Night of Isra and Miraj* , a significant event in Islamic history⁽¹⁾. On the 27th of Rajab, Muslims commemorate the miraculous journey of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from Mecca to Jerusalem and his ascension to the heavens⁽¹⁾.
During Rajab, Muslims engage in various acts of worship, such as *regular prayer, reciting the Quran, and making sincere dua* ⁽¹⁾. It is a time for seeking Allah’s mercy and forgiveness, increasing good deeds, and helping those in need⁽¹⁾. The month serves as a preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, which follows shortly after⁽¹⁾.
Rajab is also a time for *self-reflection and spiritual growth* ⁽¹⁾. Muslims are encouraged to improve themselves by treating others with kindness, patience, and avoiding negative behaviors like gossip or anger⁽¹⁾. Strengthening relationships with family and community members and forgiving those who have wronged you are also emphasized during this month⁽¹⁾.
As we approach the 27th of Rajab, let us take this opportunity to get closer to Allah (SWT) and seek His blessings and barakah⁽¹⁾. May this sacred month bring peace, prosperity, and spiritual elevation to all Muslims.
